back back back again

Finally back after almost a year and so much has happened. Rob proposed to me on May 8, 2012 the day before my 31st birthday and we we were married on October 20, 2012. We then spent 3 weeks traveling through Europe on our honeymoon

Lotus & Kelsy's 30th Birthday

Well it has been yet another fabulous weekend. On Friday we met our friend Kelsy at the The Stephen F. Austin Intercontinental downtown and then came back to our house to play darts, dance and sing happy birthday to Kelsy @ midnight.

On Saturday we went to see Nadis Warrior and Lotus at La Zona Rosa downtown. Both bands are instrumental electronic which made for a great dance party. Our crew included Jermiah and Kara Thomas, Aimee and Dustin Yeldell, Kali King and Josh Sherman, Carson Stout, Matt and Katherine Morcher, JJ Ilseng, Kelsy Roberts and JR Ragsdale, Mimi (Maryann from TT) Lauren Broderick and David plus a whole lot of other people that we know. It was fun to say the least.

Lotus! The lights were very bright and different than any other show I've been to. Pretty cool!

Presidents Day Weekend

This weekend has been an absolute BLAST!!! We have been so busy with PARTYS and out of town guest (Marissa Ollar, Kali King, JJ Ilseng, Will Deor, Todd Johnson, and more )We have loved every minute of this weekend.

FRIDAY

Rob picked me up from work and we went to Pappasitos (one of our favorite Mexican restaurants ) for dinner with our friend Carson. After dinner we went to the bar at the Stephen F. Austin downtown where our friend Clay Hornaday works for a  few beverages.  Later that night we went over to our friends Papper and David’s for some prepartying before a ROLLER DISCO. Yes I said roller disco and it was so much fun. Everyone dressed up in disco flair and we danced to Dimitris Accent and several local DJs. We danced until 4 in the morning ;) We really hope that they do it again next year!

_ Austin's official roller disco is here!! Hosted by Austin's very own Dimitri's Ascent at the Austin Roller Rink ,this will be an incredible night of classic dance music, skating and so much more . Being the second roller disco performed by Dimitri's Ascent with the first a huge success , we plan on expanding the experience with more performers , extra themed party rooms , food vendors , and amazing lights . The best part about this event is that it's BYOB and goes till 4am! Be sure and get in your flyest 70s get-up and party with DA at the official Austin roller disco of love..... 

SATURDAY

After resting at home for a bit we went downtown to Antone’s for Talking Heads tribute night. We love the talking heads and it was an awesome experience. This is the second year that they did it and I cant wait for next year.

 

FLASHBACK~ Rob and Jackie graduate from grad school

During May 2011 both Rob and I graduated from graduate school. I graduated from the University of Colorado Denver with a Masters of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education and Rob graduated from California Institute of Integral Studies with Masters of Arts degree in Integrative Health. I did not walk because we were living in SF (I finished my degree online) but Rob did walk. His mom, dad and Linda all came in town for the event. I have pictures of Rob and his mom, Kay but none of his dad and Linda :(..... The night before Rob's graduation we went to eat at Flour de Lys which was fabulous. The venue was also fabulous and thankfully I took some pictures!!!

Happy Valentines Day to Rob Noelke. You are simply amazing! Thank you for always doing my laundry, cleaning, driving me around, cooking for me, going to the grocery store, supporting me (financially & emotionally), taking care of me when I'm sick (like right now), being my best friend and partner in crime. It has been an awesome almost 6 years and I feel like the luckiest girl in the world. I love you!!!!

Fancy Mae

For Christmas 2011 my mom bought us a pug puppy and we named her Fancy Mae. She has truly became a part of our family and we love her so much!!!

Valentine's Celebration 2012

 We had an amazing time together celebrating Valentines day this last weekend. Rob got us a fabulous sweet at the Double Tree downtown. We ate dinner at our favorite restaurant Trulucks and then went out on the town! Thanks baby for an amazing evening!
